Our second 2nd place winner has passed the 48 hour mark to reply with her address, so, again, I've had to randomly select a new 2nd place winner. As before (and before!), this winner (Mara) will also have 48 hours to respond with her address!

The following is a guest post from Joanne.

I saw this commercial the other day; it was kind of cute. It had a cartoon character lumberjack cutting down a lot trees, but the trees turned into coupons. Then, right on cue, a bee in a green sweater comes flying in. He holds up this green credit card type looking thing and says (remember, it's from my memory, which is not always great, lol), "Use this one card instead of all of those coupons," and then, boom, all the trees return.

The bee says that you go to the website, bthrifty.com. Sounds REALLY good, right? I checked it out and it says that you can charge up the card or print out coupons. I thought for a minute, "If you have to print, how is it green?" Then I realized that it's still a "green" site. Think about it, isn't it better to print out coupons that you know you're going to use then get 20-30 in the paper and only use a few? Saves a lot of paper, huh?

They don't have a lot to choose from, yet, but I think that this site is going to do well. Hey, everything, little or big, helps. I hope that you all agree.

And I almost forgot to mention that they say that they are always doing promotions to give away a hybrid or fuel efficient car. The one on there now doesn't look too bad, so I entered. What the hell, it's worth a chance!

There are a lot of other printable sites but not a lot like this 2nd one that I want to tell you about. It's called Coupon Cat. Maybe I just like the name, dumb right? Oh,well. This site gives links to other sites printable coupons and offers for free samples. Free, ALWAYS a good thing! I hope that you guys like them both. Have fun clicking away.

Bye, for now!
P.S. I found the commercial on YouTube and added it to this post in case you haven't seen it.

Joanne again. Still trying to be more green. Joanne is a 46 year old mom of 2 grown children, who informs me she does not feel 46! She is interested in the green lifestyle and is trying to learn more to share with her children.

  1. Coupon Cat is a cute domain name, and going green is always a good thing.

  2. Gill, very true!
