Wren says, "Instead of buying wrapping paper and gift bags this year, reuse scrap paper and other household items instead of throwing them away, and produce something beautiful while you're at it." This submission can be useful for gift giving the rest of the year or for late Christmas presents.

Mrs Green says, "I was astonished to learn that a staggering 500 tonnes of Christmas lights alone are discarded in the UK over the holiday season. It’s estimated that around 150 million small electrical products are bought each year in the UK for Christmas. Make sure you dispose of your WEEE responsibly this Christmas."
