Hi,

I came across your blog and love it! I particularly like your theme.

This particular issue caught my eye because of the link to the "DIY Solar Panels". I've just started a blog on home solar panels (at: Buying Home Solar Panels and have not yet seriously explored or recommended a do it yourself home solar panel installation, especially one costing only $200, as this link says.

In order to displace a serious amount of your home electricity bill with solar panels, you would need many 2'x4' panels on your roof and each one would, at least at today's prices, cost well over $1,000 each. This does NOT mean you shouldn't look into this - you should. It's great way to save money in the long run with a very renewable and environmentally friendly power source. I just wouldn't want anyone to think this can be be done for $200. It's definitely within the skills of a dedicated do-it-yourselfer, but a decent installation will cost several thousand dollars.

Thanks again for your great blog.

Best regards,

Tom

A fantastic list. I particularly like the link to the alternative sources of energy as it's something I'm very interested in and which we will, as a world, will need to invest more and more into these as time goes by.

What a excellent job you've done with this blog carnival. I found it because it's posted at the top of the blog carnival web site.

I've already read several of the blog articles at the original sites, leaving comments when I felt I could add something of substance.

Thanks for putting this together. It probably takes a lot more work than it looks like from someone who has never done it.
