I want to thank David at Security for idiots and other people that care for honoring Focus Organic with the Arte y Pico award. The "Arte y Pico" award was created to be given to bloggers who inspire others with their creative energy and their talents, whether it be writing or artwork in all medias. When you receive this award it is considered a “special honor”. Those who receive it are then supposed to choose at least 5 other blogs to honor with the award, so here are my 6.

Security for idiots and other people that care I don't care if David gave it to me first! If I had received it from someone else, David would have been one of my choices, so he still is. David is an excellent writer and a very caring, intelligent person. His blog posts are thought provoking and interesting, and he definitely deserves the award.

Pajama Mommy Amanda is one of my best friends, and no one in the world could replace her. She's being going through some very stressful times recently, and she keeps going. I hope she knows that I admire and respect her! I love you, Amanda! She is an amazing entrepreneur and Pajama Mommy is one of her most popular projects.

Frugal Babe A new mom, Frugal Babe is trying to live on a budget, but without sacrificing, and she posts about it on her blog. I first got into reading her blog with her posts about the creative crafts she and her mom were making, and I haven't left since. She makes me realize how being frugal coincides with being green, and she does both of these so well! I've told her before, and I'll say it again: I wish I were as creative!

I'm Blogging That I found Katy's website through the article she wrote for the Bloggers Unite for Human Rights event on May 15th. Her site gives helpful tips for new and seasoned bloggers alike, and I am giving her the award because her tips have helped me learn something new more than once.

Cheap Like Me I have to admit, I just recently started reading this blog when Susanna submitted to All Things Eco, but if a site can keep my attention for as long as this one has, it definitely deserves an award! Susanna posts great tips, and reading about her garden interests me, which I don't think I can say normally about garden blogs!

Green Your Decor Another new one for me, but I have already very much gotten into reading Jennae's posts on how to "green your decor." Anyone who greens their home as she does is definitely inspiring for me.

I am happy to say that these 6 blogs are some of my favorites (even the newly discovered!), and I hope that they will continue the award by passing it on to their favorites!
