Asgard Press Calendars

With January coming upon us at unimaginable speeds, many of us may be looking for 2009 calendars. 2009?!? I think that's the first time I typed that and it feels so strange! Anyway, Asgard Press is offering a line of awesome 2009 calendars. The paper in the calendars is 100% recycled, and 50% post-consumer waste, processed chlorine free, and is sourced from an FSC (forest stewardship council) certified paper merchant in California. The ink used to print the calendars is also soy-based.

These calendars aren't flimsy little unimpressive ones, either. They are printed on archival quality paper and the pages are perforated, so you can tear the high-quality vintage pictures out and frame them. So not only are they recycled, but instead of throwing them away at the end of 2009, you can reuse the pages as wall decor or gifts.

Most of the calendars from Asgard Press are for the sports fan, particularly fans of vintage college football - great for alumni or die-hard fans of the teams. There are a few calendar options that are not college football, including vintage state of Delaware, vintage Mad Magazine, and vintage DC Comics.

Asgard Press vintage calendars definitely trump your normal, cheap calendars, and at $18.95, they're similar in price for much higher quality. Notecard sets are available at $19.95 and posters for $12.95.
