Happy 21st birthday to my brother! I was going to write about organic beer today, so I was surprised to see a guest post written about conversion of beer into fuel! If you're still interested in organic beer, here's the link to buy an organic beer sampler set.
I found a great article that I wanted to share titled New Machine Makes Fuel From Beer.
A scientist founded the E-FUEL Corporation in March 2007. It's for people who want to break their dependency on oil. They did it and, YUM, with beer! They use a portable machine called MicroFueler. It's about the size of a stackable washer-dryer unit and could easily fit in an ordinary driveway. The MicroFueler produces ethanol that can then be used in any car that is converted for flex fuels. The ethanol is created when sugar or beer is poured into the machine, which also already has water in it.
See, beer's not just for a buzz! LOL! HAVE FUN!!

Bio fuels are a waste of time. Very energy-costly to make them for the return you get, and setting millions of acres with the same crop is an environmental disaster waiting to happen. We need more wild land, and simple, safe nuclear reactors.

Your opinion is a valid one. There's a problem, you're using an oxymoron when you say simple and safe nuclear anything. They have been trying to make it safe probably longer then my 46 yrs.of life.

I agree that there is an issue with bio fuels, but there is a huge issue with our current form of fuel. Something needs to be done and I suppose it is a matter of "the lesser of two evils," when comparing bio fuels to conventional fuel, anyway. I personally think we need to come up with a better option than all of the currently available ones.
But making fuel out of beer is still pretty neat.

Yeah, I used organic beer to run my scooter. There needs to be a mass movement though. It seems like every time I see a new ad for gasoline alternatives, the people somehow "disappear" from the planet. I can't wait til someone kicks the oil companies @$$.
Nice blog.

I agree, though. Oil companies have far too much power. Conspiracy theories run rampant (at least, in my head, I'm big on conspiracies).
