I wanted to apologize for not posting today, but I was pretty overwhelmed from taking the entire day yesterday and a good portion of today creating a list of Blogger's Unite for Human Rights posts. For those who don't know, this event was to raise awareness across the blogosphere about human rights injustices. From the official Bloggers Unite page:
While the words might change from country to country and are sometimes taken for granted, human rights represent one of the universally agreed upon ideas — that all people are born with basic rights and freedoms that include life, liberty, and justice. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations.

Bloggers Unite For Human Rights challenges bloggers everywhere to help elevate human rights by drawing attention to the challenges and successes of human rights issues on May 15. What those topics may include — the wrongful imprisonment of journalists covering assemblies, governments that ignore the plight of citizens, and censorship of the Internet. What is important is that on one day, thousands of bloggers unite and share their unified support of human rights everywhere.

I was so impressed by the turnout of bloggers dedicated to human rights that I decided to create a page listing as many of the posts as I could find. Check it out here, and if I missed you or you know of a post I missed, please let me know!

  3. Oh my God! It's amazing you took such time to make that looong list! And you're able to categorize them all!

You must've read (or scanned) all those posts to decide which link to put on which category right.. How else would you do it.

Nice to see my link is up there too. Thank you, and keep up the good work :)

I did scan every post (and completely read quite a few)! It took me forever... I even put the ones I didn't understand through a translator :)
