In the U.S. alone, 7 billion greeting cards are purchased each year. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, about 1.9 billion Christmas cards are sent each year. Wonder how many trees go into creating these cards? For the Christmas cards alone, about 300,000 trees would be needed.
Ecards are an option to waste less paper, but some friends and family members very much appreciate tangible cards. What are we to do? Cast Paper Art offers a solution. Designed by and sold exclusively through eInvite, Cast Paper Art greeting cards are made from recycled cotton fiber, and have a great texture. There are a number of designs to choose from, and you can order in increments of 25 cards. Each order includes envelopes, and you can customize the cards with your name(s). You can even change the font face and color.
Cast Paper Art offers holiday cards, but they also offer other cards, including birth announcements, invitations, RSVPs, and more, all in beautiful colors and textures, some with flowers embedded in them
So this year for the holidays and for your greeting card and invitation needs year round, consider tree-free cards. You and your card recipients will love them, and mother nature will thank you.

Wow, great product for the ecological minded folks, who still want to send those tangible cards. I can totally relate, receiving a card in the mail is a great feeling, so I like to send them out as well. This also makes me think of a great project idea for recycling junk mail and making your own paper for greeting cards.
Thanks for sharing!
