We have to also get the word out on the harmful nature of gel candles, I will agree they are great to look at, but the additives to make the gel a gel are harmful to handle when making, harmful when smelled and definately dangerous when burnt. I can't remember where it was, and it seems to me that the soy candles as you describe them, dye-free and organic, would be just about ideal for functionality and environmental reasons.
