Plastic bags are out! Alright we know that, but how bored are we with the canvas bags that only hold a small amount of groceries? No wonder those unattractive totes spend most of their time in the trunk of the car. BlueAvocado's reusable bag system is making it very hard to forget your bag. Not only are they fun and upbeat, but they are an entire system that replaces up to 15 plastic bags in one shopping trip! My favorite feature is that all 5 bags fold up into a small pouch, that's pretty clever. I also love the bright colors, but if your not into the bright patterns, they offer a few solid choices.

The gro-pak system, features five separate component bags made completely of recycled materials. Durable, compact and stylish, the gro-pak system makes grocery shopping "eco-chic" and environmentally guilt-free. All together, the gro-pak system holds up to 100 pounds of groceries. Each BlueAvocado gro-pak component bag also features the world's first audited "Carbon Impact Label" detailing the carbon emission reduction associated with each trip to the grocery store and plastic bags avoided which can total up to 1000 plastic bags annually.
Go to BlueAvocado.com to order today, enter the code goodkarma5 for 5% off a purchase of $60 or more, and did I mention 1% of all sales, goes to KIVA.org?

I love this! My husband and I switched to cloth bags about a year ago and keep them in the car so we don't forget when we shop. However, my favorite is the little tiny pouch in my purse that holds a nice size bag. That way, where ever I am, I can use cloth instead of plastic. These bags sound wonderful; a natural extension of the little one I have in my purse. Thanks for the heads up!

Yup, the most annoying and unhealthy thing for our environment are those plastic bags.

That's a really great idea. The biggest problem most people is that they just forget their bags at home. This will make that hard to do.

I love, love, love these bags. I have a Chico bag and a Baggu bag that I always keep with me, and they are great for small shopping trips. But I would LOVE to have the full kit or double kit for larger shopping trips. The fact that everything fits into a small pouch is a definitely bonus -- meaning I can keep all of them in my purse all the time and would never forget them in the trunk like I do with my block grocery store branded bags.

Those bags were awesome and the greatest thing about the bags - They're in blue color, where it's my favorite color!

Ahh, so cute!
Too bad I have a bunch of green ones from various stores already, or I'd buy a set of these!

These bags look good. I don't like plastic bags. People who use plastic bags should be encouraged to use Eco friendly bags like blueavocado

These bags look cool and refreshing. Maybe it’s their color in the photo. Anyway, with pretty bags like these that can be folded up into tiny purses, it would be easier to switch from plastic bags. Fabric shopping bags – as alternative to plastic shopping totes – are now the trend.

I’ve had my blue avocado bag “kit” for a year now and have been beyond thrilled. I’ve also bought several kits and “pod” bags for friends, who taken to using them as school, beach and travel bags in addition to eco-friendly grocery bag replacements.
