May 29th's Tip
Yardsharing: Jennie's post Are You a Locavore? received some good attention here and on Twitter, which indicates to me that you guys are interested in this topic, so when I found Hyperlocavore - A Yard Sharing Community, I knew I should share.
Hyperlocavore is a site to help visitors form yard sharing groups. Want to know more? Says Hyperlocavore:
What is 'yard sharing or a yard share'?
Yard sharing is an arrangement between people to share skills and gardening resources; space, time, strength, tools or skills, in order to grow food as locally as possible, to make neighborhoods resilient, kids healthy and food much cheaper! The group can be friends, family, neighbors, members of a faith community (or any combination!)Why would I want to set up a yard sharing group?
Yard sharing is a way to connect people who love to garden, people who love healthy fresh food and people who have yards! Often people who have yards have little time time for a vegetable garden. And sometimes gardeners have trouble finding soil to garden in because they rent an apartment! Sometimes older people lack stamina and are socially isolated, finding younger people to partner in growing food together works wonderfully for all.
Check them out for more info on yard sharing.

Great tip! I was actually invited to join a yardshare of sorts the other day. I live in an apartment, so my friend with a house offered to let me come over and do my gardening in his backyard. Sounds like a great idea to me!

Love this idea! I live near a local yardshare that has grown into a huge share for surrounding towns. I never thought about doing this in a smaller scale. Great idea!

Excellent idea. I live in the house and I have yard that I share with my neighbors. My neighbors are nice people so we do not have problems in communication, but almost we drink coffee together in our yard.

After reading this article, it gives me some new inspiration to do the yard sharing! Well, in my living place, there's a huge open space that have been abandoned by the owner since 5 years ago. Maybe, I should negotiate with my neighbors and do some good stuffs on the wasteland...
