Pet Adoption: October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. Adopting a rescue animal is green because it helps with over pet population, not to mention you are giving a deserving animal a wonderful new life. Every dog I've ever gotten has been a shelter dog, and they've enriched my life more than I can ever explain. SHELTER DOGS RULE!

Oh, I would really love to adopt a dog..but I don't think my mom would appreciate me or any of my siblings getting another pet

I adopted my first dog when i was 11, now being 20 I still have that dog and love her to death. (also just had 3 puppies that i cant give away lol)

I'm a cat lover and I adopted my first cat when I was 5-year-old...
And, I hated those people that abandon the cats and dogs, and I think these people should be punished for what they done!

We don't have a dog, but we do have two cats, and both were adopted from shelters. I would adopt them all if I could!
