Eco-Friendly Friday

I've decided to make Friday a day where I post an informative yet easy eco-friendly tip. I think if we all take some basic steps in our lives toward becoming more green, we can better the planet without even realizing it.

June 13th's Tip

Grilling: Use an electric grill. Of the most common grill choices, electric grills generate the least pollution (just remember to unplug it when you are done!). If your only choices are propane or charcoal, choose propane, which burns cleaner than coal. Or you could ditch all these ideas and buy a solar grill!

Contribute

If you want to contribute a tip, shoot us an email. Be sure to include your URL if you want a link to your site included with your tip! Since the 4th of July is on a Friday, I'll be looking for a good holiday related tip for that day. I think I am going to pick just one per week to post, but I am going to keep all tips I receive for possible posting later, and I will include a link to your site if you contribute, whether I pick your tip for that week or not!

  2. Patty, thank you!

We discovered the greatness of electric grills sort of by force. We live in a condo and aren't allowed to have a gas/charcoal grill on our deck, so we got an electric one. Sort of pricey, but worth the eco-friendly bonus :)
