Annie, 81? Wow, you have more will power than I do!

We also set to 68 in the winter, which I love because I have an excuse to wear sweaters indoors and out.

We set our summer temp to 81 - all day the same because we have people and pets here all the time. In the winter we set to 68 during the day and 60 at night (we have blankets and pets have fur).

My electric bill is huge, but that's just because we pay so much per kwh.

That's a great tip. I always cut our air up or either I cut it off when we're not home. It's a waste of energy and money!

Panda, lol. Sounds like my dad. He tries to never run the air conditioning, but my mom freaks out about it when it gets above 70ish. When I am at their house I have to wrap up in a blanket... in the summer!

Those tips are quite good! My dad never turns on the heat of the AC, saying instead "Go put on a sweater" or "Drink Water."
