June 20th's Tip
Grilling: In this season of grilling, you might consider grilling more veggies than meat. It's an eco-friendly choice, and healthier for you too! If you want to add tang, toss with black or clamata olives and feta; if you want more bite, add seasoned croutons and/or grated cheddar cheese -- all organic, of course! - contributed by PattyI found a recipe for grilled new potatoes with garlic, which I haven't gotten to try yet, but it sounds delicious. The recipe says to place the potatoes on the grill over hot coals, but I imagine it would work find on other grills (hopefully, because we have an electric one!)

I never really thought of grilling veggies, but I think I'd like it more than steamed or other ways. I definitely will have to spice it up, but it all should be good.

I prefer steamed over boiled, and grilled over steamed
Grills, even electric ones, help the flavor quite a bit, even before spices are added. Here are some grill recipes to try (one is really just how to grill corn, but since I've always boiled corn on the cob, I find it useful):

The first one says on grill over coals, but I imagine it would work fine on other grills (I haven't tried it yet, but I think it sounds delicious)
