Whole Foods is recalling 365 Organic Everyday Value Popcorn, Lightly Salted, because it was incorrectly flavored with white cheddar seasoning. They are recalling because the seasoning makes the popcorn contain milk ingredients, while the packaging does not declare the presence of them.
The popcorn was sold in California, Arizona, Nevada, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington D.C, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Oregon, New Jersey, New York and Washington. The UPC is 9948240552. And the sell by dates are labeled as 10/28/08 or 10/29/08.
For more information, see here.

Despair is always good for helping me find great new sites to visit, and this one is no exception!
I love the idea behind it and the layout is gorgeous. Keep up the good work!
Unfortunately, I live outside the USA so I cannot buy the product mentioned in this blog entry.

Thank you very much, Sarah!
No biggie about not being able to buy it, it's just popcorn
I know there are other brands that sell organic popcorn if you wanted to try it. It's yummier than non-organic popcorn (to me, anyway!)

Good to know! Funny how the organic stuff always costs more, but even though, I guess you never know what you get
