Does this product really save you money? It may be more polluting just to manufacture the product, more than the water usage at a car wash. What do you think?

A bucket of water and soap with sponge may be the more economical way to wash. I agree that car washes can be a big waste of water.

This is a really good product, especially to those who are lazy to wash their own cars. But I think what's great about it is that by using this new product from Freedom, we can save up a lot on our water bills.

Designer Clothing, if you compare to getting your car professionally washed, this product is a bargain!

Wheelywheel, they say it's basically for maintenance washes, not caked on mud and dirt. I did have a lot of tree crap on my car, which is normally hard to get off, and this took it off.

Eric, I didn't have mud on my car, so I couldn't say!

Hmmm very nice. I think this is just for "not so dirty cars". I still prefer water to remove some dirt. Very nice shine specially the tire part.

This car wash product is sure to save a lot of water. But the price seems to be a bit expensive to me. Anyhow, that's worth a try because of all its features (non-toxic, bio degradable). Thanks for the comprehensive and picture accompanied post.

Jennae, definitely give it a try. The original formula, which has wax, should make your car shine really nicely.

And Dianna, I still have not received an email back about the information you found. What I figure is that it has to be better then what is out there currently that does not make the claims that Freedom does, so even if it's baby steps, it's still moving us forward.

Dianna, I couldn't find the information on the net you're talking about, but I did email the company to ask, and I will let you know what they say.

Lisa, I was thinking that before, but if you get 20 washes out of the package, it totals about $2.50 per wash, which is much less then if you go to a car wash.

This is intriguing, but after looking at the msds sheet for the product \'freedom original\' i see it has a health hazard rating of 2, along with some other nasty chemicals. How is this considered non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and safe for me to use?

Thanks for sharing this product, it is great indeed. I will try it for sure, because it will save a lot. My biggest problem is water, which i can't get to the street so easy, because of long way from home .
