Wishing everyone a Happy (and green) Valentine's Day! Remember that showing how much you love someone doesn't need to be done with a card, flowers, and candy. Something creative, thoughtful, and personal is just as much appreciated, and can save money and help save the environment, too.
And for the adults (and the adults only!), a message from Grist's marketing manager, Brendon:
"Before you get down and dirty, there's something you oughta know: Sex toys can contain nasty toxic surprises. In today's Umbra video, two lovebirds sing the praises of alternative playthings, just in time for Valentine's Day." Watch the video here.

Love the picture, (pardon the pun)! But a great post to go with it. Like any other "toy", these can be toxic as well. Would be willing to bet not many consider that.

I love some quotes
“Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction”

Nicely said. When I read your quote, I could picture the faces of a young couple doing just that.

I don't love valentine all that much, especially because of the feeling that it is artificially imposed in our lives. But if feelings are real, i guess it can be nice to see people have a special day to show someone their affection.

Hello Poslovna,
Yes, I agree. Sometimes the Valentines Day ads are quite overwhelming.
My wife and I don't wait for a holiday to celebrate our affections.
A surprise bouquet of flowers and a nice dinner out.... can come any day of the year.
