Since I can't sleep and I'm pretty bored, I figured I'd post about my job-a-matic board. It's a pretty neat thing. I used keywords to create job listings (environmental, eco-friendly, and enviromentally). Some of the jobs that show up aren't exactly eco-friendly, and only show up because they match a keyword, which is also why it's set up to allow the user to search by job (and location). I've used the search function myself to see what sort of jobs are available around here (and elsewhere) in case I find something I can't live without
I haven't had anyone purchase a job listing there, which would be awesome, but it's no biggie; I really just set it up for fun (yes, I am a geek!).

When searching Google for "Job-A-Matic", you are one of the first results, so I'm hoping you can help update other publishers before they get burned. Simply Hired seems to have shut down their affiliate program. They don't answer emails. Their ticket sytem and forum no longer accept log ins. They refuse to post a payment policy or answer questions about it. They DO still accept signups and job listings, but as far as I can tell, they don't pay out any more.
When I set up my job board they answered emails. Now that they owe me some money they don't respond. They auto-respond with a ticket number, but the system doesn't allow log ins to follow up on it. Their last blog entry is from January, their forum hasn't allowed log ins since April.
I don't expect you to just take my word, but if you look into it, you might be able to save a lot of publishers some money.
Thanks

Anonymous, I'm sorry you're having such trouble with Simply Hired. I really just set up the board for fun. It doesn't get looked at much, and it's not very accurate with the listings it posts (even though I use keywords).
I honestly don't think I'd have any pull as far as influencing people's decisions about the company, but I do hope everything gets worked out for you.
