I believe the most useful item in the kit for my family is the Smart Strip powerstrip. With four children in the house, all with television sets hooked up with either DVD players, multiple video games, or VCR the power to these additional items gets left on for days sometimes. Having the Smart Strip powerstrip will help to say a ton of money.

I could most use the SmartStrip power strip that automatically shuts off everything plugged into it once my computer or TV are off. I've been meaning to get one, because I always forget to unplug the idle electronics that drain power even when not in use.

I think the Smart Strip power strips would be the most useful for us. We generally do use reusable bags and bottles, as well as rags (though I don't know how the Euro Sponge is different), but turning off electronics is something we've been trying to do and failing to a lot of the time because it takes so long each time.

The power strip for us. We have so many electric items that stay plugged in all the time, ghost draining our power, I know this is bad, right now we only have one TV set and DVD player plugged into a strip, could use about 4 more to get things under control.
