Remember NatureAir, the world's first carbon neutral airline? We learned more about the company and interviewed the CEO, Alex Khajavi, back in June.
NatureAir has been chosen as one of ten from hundreds of entries to become a finalist in National Geographic's Changemakers Geotourism Challenge 2009: Power of Place, Sustaining the Future of Destinations.
Among the other ten finalists are:
- Virgin Islands Sustainable Farm Institute
- Trout Point Lodge of Nova Scotia
- PEPY
- RiverIndia
- Context Travel
- Wikiloc
- Evergreen
- Reality Tour Viagens e Turismo Ltda
- Ger to Ger Foundation & Agency
Before you vote, take a little time to read about each of the companies (including NatureAir) and why they have been included as finalists. Voting ends August 12th, and you have to make 3 choices.
