As my loyal readers know, I am a sucker for cookies, any kind of cookies! Organic or not, I have to have them. Honestly, I always thought organic cookies weren't worth the calories since they lacked taste. Newman-O's cookies are delicious! I fed the peanut butter O's to my boyfriend yesterday and haven't seen the bag since.
Now, how can an organic cookie taste better than any Oreo and still be organic? The secret is in the palm fruit oil. Palm fruit oil is not hydrogenated, contains no trans-fatty acids, is lower in saturated fat than butter and has no cholesterol and is extracted from the palm's fruit, not the palms kernel.

My dog has food allergies and I'm as concerned about the ingredients that are in his food as my own. I found that the Newman's Own Organic dog treats don't have the corn or wheat that makes my dog itch. I've found them at Target and my regular grocery store.

I am sad that this new eco snacks food is not available in my country. However, glad to hear anther brand joined in charity donation group.
