Weird title? Yes, I know. I was clicking around Etsy yesterday when I found this really strange, really cool product: organic diaper cakes created by Etsy user babydaysdiapercakes. Talk about an interesting find!
What is it?
Well, it's a diaper cake! It oddly resembles a wedding cake, and includes 125 Seventh Generation bleach-free size one diapers. Included inside and topping off the cake are two organic cotton size 0-3 month onesies, four organic cotton receiving blankets, one MiYim organic cotton rattle, and an Earth’s Best organic kit, which includes tear free 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash, calendula extra rich therapy crème, lavender everyday calming lotion, chemical free sunblock SPF 30+, and diaper relief ointment. The cakes are wrapped in tulle and topped with a bow.
In the creator's words:I don't currently have anyone to buy this for, but part of me wishes I did. Seeing things like this bring out that annoying, "Aww, that's so cute," side of me. I'm definitely bookmarking this one for a later baby shower gift idea.This is a one of a kind 4 tier, high quality diaper cake made with eco-friendly and organic ingredients for the eco-conscience mom! Organic Diaper cakes are the bomb! I received one from http://www.Growinstyle.com, and I have never heard of the concept prior to my baby shower. i really thought it was the best gift to receive! even though i spent days doing my registry with all the much needed baby products, this cake was just stunning not to mention it came with a bunch of organic goodies. its one of those gifts i will remember forever.
