Mother's Day is coming up soon, and what better way to show your mom you care than with an organic flower bouquet? She will love that you thought of her with such a beautiful gift but she will especially appreciate that you honored our Mother Earth by purchasing organically grown flowers. After all, she taught you to treat others with respect, and that's exactly what organic farming does, it treats the people who grow the flowers and the land they grow it on with respect.

I realize I am sounding like an advertisement, but I love my mom, and I know she would appreciate any gift I gave her, but she would appreciate it if it were organic that much more. I've gone through some of the organic flowers and picked a few of my favorites.

National Wildlife Federation Daisies

Gerbera daisies, my personal favorite flower. They donate 5% of each purchase to the National Wildlife Federation.

Keep America Beautiful Blue Iris

Two Dozen Cherry Love Roses

I'm not usually a rose fan, but these are beautiful.

A beautiful, unique bouquet.

I hope, even you don't buy your mom flowers, that you show her how much you appreciate her not just on Mother's Day, but all year round.

  1. "Green" flowers are a great way to help raise money for environment schemes. But I'm not sure most people would go out their way to hunt down these kinds of flowers when they could just get some normal ones from the local florist?

  2. Not sure what is meant by an organic flower? I think we need to tone down the use of these buzz words (like "global warming" and "ozone"), every flower is organic except for the plastic ones.

  3. Organic as in grown without chemicals.
