October 31st's Tip
Halloween Pumpkins: Most people are just going to take their pumpkins and toss them in the trash. Instead of all that waste, why not recycle your pumpkin? You can compost that pumpkin, along with fall leaves, food scraps from your Halloween party, and other items you would normally compost. You can bake the seeds for a delicious, healthy snack. If you haven't already thrown out the guts of the pumpkin, you can bake a yummy pumpkin dessert.
Also remember to keep your Halloween decorations/costumes for next year. You'll save money and waste! And make sure those candy wrappers find their way to the trash rather than littering the ground!
