The Read Green Initiative and Earth Friendly Magazines

For those of you who can see it, that's the Read Green widget, to give you an idea of what it's like to read a digital magazine (of course, full version magazines will be much bigger!). The Read Green Initiative is a program powered by Zinio, the world’s largest publisher and distributor of digital magazines. It's purpose is to offer a free way to enjoy your favorite magazine, and to save some trees in the process.

Through the Read Green program, you can choose one 1-year digital magazine subscription for FREE. Not all magazines are available for this free offer, but there's definitely enough where you're sure to find something you'll be interested in (I found quite a few somethings, to be honest!).
