Nope, that's not a typo. What were you doing at 11? I was busy with my first year of middle school and having secret crushes on all the new boys. Granted, I didn't have a computer with internet (just my Grandma's old Commodore 64!), but even if I had, there's a pretty good chance I wouldn't have been doing what Riley Hoffer is doing now.
Riley is the daughter of Cynergreen founders Joe and Danelle Hoffer. She has designed an alternative water bottle as the first product of the new line, CGKidz.

The CGKidz bottle is a 304 Stainless Steel Water bottle exclusively designed by Riley. The bottle is a 500ml, convenient for lunch boxes and back packs, with a special recycle design and the CG Kidz logo. The bottle is safe and reusable, and features a twist cap and silver caribiner. Proceeds from the purchase of the official CG Kidz bottle will be donated to schools across the country that are in need of assistance to fund their green initiatives.
CGKidz - green stuff. by kids, for kids
Riley also manages CGKidz.com, "where kids of all ages can talk about the environment, products that are important to use at home, school and in their communities." She travels with her parents as a member of the "Green Team" to talk to other kids about how they can make a difference.
“I’m so excited to see so many kids getting involved already with CGKidz," says Riley. "The reason that I started the website was to get my friends and other kids my age involved so we can do our part to really make a difference. I think if we keep spreading the word, every kid in the US will jump in and do their part.”

Amazing that she is only 11! I was definatly not running a company at that age or dreaming up green products. Great job!

What a clever child. I love the bottle. I have an aluminum one also for my kid's lunchbox. Not from her line though. I would wish that so many others had her enterprising and eco-friendly spirit. This is great. Thank you for the heads up.

At 11? I was still playing with my dolls and outdoor games with my friends. I didn't even care about recycling back then. She's pretty cool to have thought that at such an age.
