Ice Cream Cones: It is crazy hot here, and it's making me want ice cream. When you go to the ice cream shop, get yours in a cone instead of a cup. No plastic spoon to throw away, no paper or plastic cup to throw away. And you get the extra yumminess of the ice cream cone (I'll be getting mine dipped in chocolate!)....

June 27th's Tip

Fourth of July: Don't use disposable dishes, utensils, cups and napkins. These contribute to environmental "trash" and are not biodegradable.

If you already have fun "picnic ware," use that. If you don't, don't go out and spend $$... have each guest bring their favorite dish. It can be china or something hand painted....
