I know there are a lot of weird products out there claiming to be eco-friendly. Some of the products aren't necessarily weird themselves, but the concepts can be. As an example, does anyone else find it odd that Wal-Mart is selling eco-friendly products? Wal-Mart?! That's another one of those things where I wonder if they are doing it because they care about the environment or just to attract the eco-friendly market. I tend to think it's the latter...

I came across some interesting "eco-friendly" products today and figured I'd share their oddness with you. Some I'm not sure would really classify as eco-friendly... but I'll leave that up to you....
Summer is coming and it's time to start thinking swim suits. If you've been getting in shape over the winter (or even if you haven't!) a nice swimsuit can be a treat. Head to the beach this summer in eco-conscious swimwear and you'll not only look great, but feel great, too.

CosmeticsI was looking for more information on organic and natural personal care products, including shampoo, soap, cosmetics, etc., and decided I should post what I've learned, since these products labels can be even more confusing than those on food!...
I'm just posting a quick one because I forgot to mention on Thursday about the chance to win 3 months of organic flowers for Mother's Day. Click here for your chance. The contest is run by the same company whose flowers I posted about on Thursday, and is free to enter! Contest ends May 5th, so get your entries in now!
Mother's Day is coming up soon, and what better way to show your mom you care than with an organic flower bouquet? She will love that you thought of her with such a beautiful gift but she will especially appreciate that you honored our Mother Earth by purchasing organically grown flowers. After all, she taught you to treat others with respect, and that's exactly what organic farming does, it treats the people who grow the flowers and the land they grow it on with respect.

I realize I am sounding like an advertisement, but I love my mom, and I know she would appreciate any gift I gave her, but she would appreciate it if it were organic that much more. I've gone through some of the organic flowers and picked a few of my favorites....
