July 18th's Tip
Greeting Cards: In the U.S. alone, about 7 billion greeting cards are purchased each year. Wonder how many trees go into making those cards? I'm not sure I want to know! Why not forgo the traditional card, and send an e-card? Another benefit to e-cards is many of them are free! If you don't want to go that route, try buying recycled cards (which any card shop should carry), or tree-free cards. You an even make your own cards out of recycled paper....Welcome to the July 14, 2008 edition of All Things Eco.
