While these may sound like a product for your agile pooch, Yoga Paws ($34.95) are something much different. Basically mitts that you wear on your hands and feet, Yoga Paws are meant to replace your yoga mat.
Tiny enough to fit in your purse or your glovebox, Yoga Paws are a great option for anyone who travels but still wants to maintain their yoga routine. They are a friendlier alternative to many yoga mats, which contain PVC. Yoga Paws are PVC-free, as well as latex and chloride free.
I'm not a Yogi myself, but I did get the chance to try Yoga Paws, and may very well end up trying more yoga. Our condo doesn't have a lot of free space, and Yoga Paws make it easy to stretch out, without space needed for a mat. For a limited time, orders of Yoga Paws include a free Yoga-Syz DVD, so even if you're also a newbie, you should have no problem starting to practice.

Maybe that was what I should have bought for my wife this Christmas. I guess it'll have to wait for her birthday

I looked at the pictures for the yoga paw and for the feet it looks like it only covers the front part of the foot, and excludes the heal and toes.
In some of the yoga positions you are to distribute your weight evenly over your foot. Do you find that it is uncomfortable at all? does it effect the distribution of your weight? I guess it really depends on how think are the paws. Are they think enough not to have any effect?

Now that's cool. I'm not into yoga myself but if it's less hassle when it comes to the equipment, i'd want to try that out!

Interesting product indeed, perfect as gift for yoga or fitness lovers. I also wonder if it was with purpose not to cover whole bottom of feet?

The focus helps clear the mind. The postures help stretch, relax, and strengthen the body.

Looks like cool and comfortable stuff, but i will definitely ask my Yoga master if they are so vitally necessary, may be it's just an additional waste of money.I see that they cover the most part of the palm and i think its bad for energy circulation.

For those concerned about the paws not covering the whole foot, I don't find it to be a problem.

Wow, these are pretty unique! I have never seen a product of this sort, its very interesting and I must say I like! I don't do yoga myself as of now, I have always wanted to, but I never end up making the leap. My mother however does do yoga and she has a birthday coming up, so I think I am going to look into these paw grips for her! Thanks, for the great idea.
